How many days left is a tool that allows you to easily calculate how many days are left until the "target date". It can also automatically calculate the number of days until "New Year's Day (New Year's Day)", "Valentine's Day", "White Day", "Children's Day", "Tanabata", "Halloween", "Christmas", "Christmas Eve", and "New Year's Eve".

How to Use

  1. Select the "Target Date".
  2. The "Number of Days from Today (including today)" and "Number of Days from Today (excluding today)" will be calculated automatically.
  3. Additionally, the "Number of Days from Today (excluding today)" until event dates will be automatically calculated for: "New Year's Day", "Valentine's Day", "White Day", "Children's Day", "Tanabata (Star Festival)", "Halloween", "Christmas", "Christmas Eve", and "New Year's Eve".

How to Count "How Many Days Until?"

Basic Rule: "X days until" typically excludes today.

Example (if today is May 16)

  • "1 day until" → May 17
  • "3 days until" → May 19

Note

When using the expression "for X days", it often includes today.

  • "For 3 days starting today" → 3 days: May 16, 17, and 18
